Meiling "Kites"
Hey guys haven't blogged in a while, been soooo busy with school, but it's almost over and soon I will be posting the adventures of my semester (lol) and more post as well as some pictures to share with you guys. Tonight was Meiling's show at Movietown " Kites", one word....Fabulous!!. Great theme, concept, colors, hair and simple accessorizing and music!! With excellent detail and fabric treatment, everything was perfect right down to the very last detail. It's always interesting and exciting to see what her next collection is. GREAT job Meiling, you are an inspirations to us all!!

Not my favorite, however I appreciate use of color and femininity, minimal print, styling, and color transition from warm to light spring colors.

Fall trend reports 2011!!!
So I've checked out the trend reports for Fall 2011, and wanted to share it with you guys.
This season designer such as Dries Van Noten and Rodarte's Mulleavy have mixed prints as well as textures all in one. Brights have been in for a while and has flowed into the fall season, check out designers like Prada and Balenciaga collections just to name a few. Another trend is COATS COATS and more COATS lol, from super- luxe parkas ("statement coat") not only for the elements but for style as well, and psychedelic furs. The sixties are also making a combat, as fashion month entered its middle stages in London. Designers focused on colors prints and texture. Last but not least TUX!! for women similar to Yves Saint Laurent's tux. Check designers Ralph Lauren, Micheal Kors, and celebrities Kristen Dunst and Phoebe Philo from the 2011 CFDA awards.

So my first instinct looking at this collection was somewhat tribal. With the colors, lines and silhouettes. I was somewhat close (lol) The collection actually reflects traditional tartans, and seventies skiing uniforms, but looking sort of like a futuristic tribe. The models also looked the part with a loose braid and bleached brows, with spats to the beat of Thom Yorke's soundtrack.

So I was reading up on style.com and saw that Annie Lennox is getting her own museum exhibition at London's Victoria and Albert Museum this Fall, when The House of Annie Lennox exhibition debuts on September 15 with a boatload of choice ensembles and ephemera from the icon's coffers . ROYAL WEDDING!!!
WOW!!! what a joyous occasion it was yesterday as MILLIONS of eyes watch this union of William and Kate. Most of all the revealing of her dress!! I got goose bumps watching her as she step out of the car!! I thought the designer Sarah Burton did an AMAZING job, and it shows you how fashionable Kate is. Her dress had all the qualities, classic with the custom french lace, sexy with the low v-neck, and elegance with the flow of the dress. She wore it with grace and style....speaking of grace, it had a slight resemblance of Grace Kelly's wedding dress!!
